Kathryn Janeway gave him her notorious death stare “You’re joking”
“I’m dead serious”
Kathryn continued reading “chakotay I’m old, and kaya is in high school my child bearing days are long gone”
He sat down next to her “ you’re not old Kathryn and besides Kaya has been wanting a brother or sister since she could talk.”
Kathryn put her padd down “I was barely there for kaya when I was younger and the fact that I’m still barely there for her makes me a horrible mom”
Chakotay pulled her to him “I think you are a fantastic mother it was just the timing, we got pregnant right after you were promoted and you know what ? I wouldn’t change it for anything” she chuckled, “ I can’t believe we are having this conversation”
“Kath you’ve been meaning to slow down and focusing more on our family, why not make Kaya a big sister”
Kathryn looked into his brown orbs glistening with hope and anticipation “I will think about it”
Chakotay beamed “really !”
She chuckled “yes really but there is a lot we need to consider”
Then they both suddenly heard the door open “mom, dad I’m home”
Kathryn gave Chakotay and peck on the lips “We will continue this conversation later”If this gets a lot of likes/ reblogs I will continue the story
