[I love everything about Janeway, BUT, I don’t understand fandom’s obsession with her hands. They just look like hands to me. Is it a sexual thing? Is it because they look graceful or something? Is it because hands are sometimes used for sex? I got all the respect for you guys but me, I don’t get it. ]
It’s not just Janeway, Kate is very fluid with all of her movement. Her hands are always flowing through space and caressing something. Whether it be her own body, someone else’s body, an inanimate object, etc. She does have very delicate hands, but I don’t think that it’s her hands themselves. It’s the way that they touch everything and gesture gracefully. lol. Totally understand where you’re coming from, though. It’s not a sexual thing for me. I just fall into a trance watching them. Haha.
