what do y’all think would have happened if that idiot Cavit hadn’t died? like would he just step down so Chakotay could be the the “token maquis” and balance out that power to get the maquis crew in line?? but then like what exactly would he DO?? idk i’ve just been thinking about it for some reason
Tough question! Cavit as XO but B’Elanna as Chief Engineer…where would that leave Chakotay? Would Janeway have put two Maquis in key leadership positions from the start?
that’s what I’m thinking… but I feel like there’s no way the maquis would accept it (let alone Chakotay himself) if C wasn’t somehow leading as well…
